The internet is littered with cliched, boring, run of the mills articles telling you “how to lose weight fast” etc. I’m guessing you’ve all read them and found them to be identical cut and paste jobs from other sites.

DRINK WARM LEMON JUICE AND WATER IN THE MORNING
Ive been doing this for years and it’s great. Haven’t stopped since. Started it when i needed to lose a bit of weight i’d put on over the winter.
Not only is it refreshing and tastes great, but it has considerable health benefits. Most people don’t drink enough water ( and i mean 8 glasses of water a day), so it also helps to top up the amount of water your drinking.

1. IT’S AN AWESOME DIGESTIVE AID
Lemon juice stimulates the production of saliva and gastric juices when you drink it first thing in the morning. In other words it prepares your body for eating and digesting food all day. It stimulates the liver to produce bile, which helps it digest your food. Lemons are also high in minerals and vitamins and help loosen ama, or toxins, in the digestive tract. The digestive qualities of lemon juice help to relieve symptoms of indigestion, such as heartburn, belching and bloating. The American Cancer Society actually recommends offering warm lemon water to cancer sufferers to help stimulate bowel movements. So if you have stomach problems – give it a try!
2. BOOSTS THE IMMUNE SYSTEM
The juice from half a lemon in a glass of water is rich in vitamin C. It supports the immune system and assists the body in fighting colds and flu. They are also high in potassium which stimulates brain and nerve function, and if that wasn’t enough in itself it also helps control blood pressure.

Lemon juice is a diuretic and helps flush out toxins from your body. Lemons increase the rate of urination in the body. Toxins are released at a faster rate which therefore helps keep your urinary tract healthy. The citric acid in lemons helps maximize enzyme function, which stimulates the liver and aids in detoxification. Good stuff!
4. AIDS FAT LOSS AND REDUCES HUNGER
Lemons are high in pectin , which helps fight hunger cravings. Studies have shown people who maintain a more alkaline diet, do in fact lose weight faster.
